Your workshop registration includes accommodations at Hotel Flor – Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the training venue itself. Staying onsite allows you to walk easily to class each day and enjoy the surrounding downtown Tampa area.

Located in the heart of downtown Tampa, Hotel Flor is just steps from the Riverwalk, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, and local attractions.

Workshops are capped at 20 participants to ensure an interactive, small group format.

Your workshop registration covers both lodging and all scheduled activities, so you can focus on learning and connecting with other participants. Registration includes:

The workshop blends classroom learning with interactive, real-world experiences. Activities include:

• In-depth CPTED instruction and case study discussions

• Roundtable consultations where participants share and receive feedback on projects

• A guided CPTED walking tour of Tampa’s Riverwalk and waterfront parks

• A group dinner in historic Ybor City with cultural and networking opportunities

• A hands-on evening lighting survey using professional ExTech light meters

A padfolio and field guide are provided, but participants may bring personal notes or materials related to their projects. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the Riverwalk and Ybor City activities.

The dress code is business casual. Jeans and flip flops are not permitted.

Yes. Your workshop registration includes meals and refreshments throughout the program:

• Each morning: Coffee and light breakfast items will be provided.

• Day 1: Lunch at The Dan (Hotel Flor’s restaurant).

• Day 2: Lunch at Ulele on Tampa’s Riverwalk, plus a group dinner at the historic Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City.

• Day 3: Light breakfast and morning refreshments before the final session.

We recommend flying into Tampa International Airport (TPA), the closest major airport to the training venue.

For those staying at Hotel Flor, the hotel is located approximately 8 miles from TPA, with a typical travel time of 15 to 20 minutes by car, depending on traffic.

This location is also easily accessible for local attendees commuting from surrounding areas.
