Growing up on the southside of Oklahoma City, I was intrigued by the architecture of the mid-century neighborhood I grew up in. The older alleys, detached garages and repeated house designs stuck in mind. As I grew up I came to learn more about these designs and in turn, how they impacted us. Graduating from the University of Oklahoma and obtaining degrees in Sociology, Psychology and Criminal Justice (M.AS.), I dedicated further leaning and became certified in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.
