Laura is a certified and degreed planner with 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. As a specialist in community planning, Laura has managed a variety of projects ranging from long-range policy level planning to design and implementation of major capital projects. Laura serves as a project manager as part of WSP’s national Transit and Rail practice providing guidance on CPTED-related issues for various public transit clients. Prior to joining WSP, Laura managed a wide variety of planning projects for numerous government clients including redevelopment agencies, parks and recreation departments, counties, cities, and metropolitan planning organizations. Laura has spoken at numerous national and state planning conferences on a variety of subjects including Managing Big Data for Decision Makers, Transit Friendly Design, and Design Guidelines for Small Towns and Rural Communities. Laura received her MBA from the University of Central Florida and Bachelors in Geography from Florida Atlantic University.
