Drew Neckar is the Principal Consultant for COSECURE Enterprise Risk Solutions, a full-service security consulting firm providing expert witness and litigation support, physical security, cyber security, emergency management, and violence prevention consulting providing services to companies in multiple industries.

Prior to joining COSECURE Drew formed and led his own consulting firm, Security Advisors Consulting Group which he led for five years prior to joining COSECURE. In addition to his consulting experience Drew has over twenty years of security industry experience serving as the senior security executive for healthcare, educational, and financial institutions and as a Regional Director of Security for Mayo Clinic. In these roles he has had the opportunity to devise solutions to solve security problems for organizations across many different environments, managed annual operating budgets in excess of seven million dollars, overseen multi-million-dollar capital projects, and lead departments consisting of more than two-hundred Security personnel.

Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International

Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) from the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS)

Certified Threat Manager (CTM) form the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP)

Certificate in Safety Management (CSM) from the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)

He has also served in leadership roles with several professional organizations currently serving as the Vice Chairperson of ASIS International’s School Safety Steering Committee, and previously serving as the Vice Chairperson of ASIS’ Healthcare Security Council, the President of the Minnesota Association of Healthcare Safety and Security, and the Chairperson of IAHSS’ Upper Midwest Chapter.

He has also authored articles in industry journals and served as a featured speaker at multiple conferences; he has also been cited extensively in print, broadcast, and online media on as an authority on security and workplace violence prevention.
