Officer Huffman is a 23 year veteran of the Grand Rapids Police Department. He was on the committee comprised of City of Grand Rapids Police, Planning and City Attorney's office staff to develop a CPTED ordinance which was adopted in 2019. Officer Huffman served as one of the Police liaisons with the Grand Rapids Medical Marijuana ordinance which required all applicants to submit a CPTED plan to be reviewed by the Police department.
