As the Crime Prevention Coordinator for the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct, I work closely with East Precinct community members, as well as officers of the East Precinct. The goal is to decrease crime by developing, implementing and coordinating a variety of police programs geared towards crime prevention. I help to organize special Seattle Police Department functions such as the Night Out Against Crime, community outreach events and the annual East Precinct Picnic. Other services I offer include: residential and commercial safety/security assessments, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design evaluations, work-place and personal safety presentations and assistance with starting and/or maintaining Block Watch groups.
