I have been in the fire service since 1992. The first 20 years of my career were with the Westland Fire Department in S.E. Michigan. In 2012, I accepted the Operation Chief position with the Bullhead City Fire Department (AZ). After five years in operations, I moved into the Logistics Chief role for the department. My main responsibilities are supply chain, facilities, fleet maintenance, and policy oversight.

In 2015, I completed the 40-hour course to become a Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) for the State of Arizona. One year later, my application to the Naval Postgraduate School masters program in homeland security studies was approved and I graduated from the program in December of 2017.

Completion of the CPTED advanced coursework for my initial appointment occurred on November 6, 2019.
