My name is Christina Costa, I am a project manager for the University of Texas at Austin with our Construction Services department under Planning, Design, and Construction. Since 2015, I have worked with our in-house construction shops and our outside general contractor partners on new and renovation projects.
I have been working closely with my coworker, who is also my husband, to create a standard for UT to follow CPTED recommendations on all new and renovation design reviews. We provide site assessments for clients on campus to enhance the safety of their buildings and departments.
My goal is to see The University of Texas at Austin become a CPTED safe campus before I retire.
