Daniel is a retired Huntsville Police Department Sergeant. He is currently the Lead Security Manger/Qualifying Agent for Hedge Security Solutions, LLC. Daniel is certified as a Professional Designation CPTED Assessor. He is also certified as a Site Security Assessor and a School Security Specialist through the American Crime Prevention Institute.

Daniel is also a certified A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Instructor, Situational Awareness Instructor, and a "Stop the Bleed" Instructor. He graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies.
